Welcome to Kennington, a rather small town in southern Ohio. Kennington got it's beginnings as a humble farming community, but due to its breathtaking beauty and unparalleled atmosphere, it has become somewhat of an attraction to wealthy families looking to get away from the city life, much to the dismay of their children. Kennington has a population of about thirty-five thousand, making it one of the larger towns in the area, and, even though it is "large," the small town feel has been retained.
The town is surrounded on all sides by acres upon acres of fertile farmland, so many of its residents are farmers. The unique mix of the ritzy upper class and the down-to-earth brings a spice that, while utterly frustrating at times, endears Kennington's inhabitants to it even more.
On the outside, this small urban town appears to be a calm, uninteresting place, which it is, for the most part. That is, until the bell rings at the local high school, thus unleashing the local teens on the town. Kennington, just like anywhere else, has its own struggles when it comes to the teenage life. The partying, the drinking, the sex, the drugs, it's all here, just as it is in any other part of the country.
Of course, these struggles simply come with the participation the the thing that is called the public school system. Kennington High is no different than your typical public high school. The students here deal with the same problems and are forced to make the same life changing decisions as any other high schooler. They must decide who their real friends are. They must decide to love or lose, to live or die, to be real or hide. Sadly, so many choose to seal themselves behind masks. Just like so many schools about the country, the hallways of Kennington High are filled with Fake Plastic Trees.
